Students with partners & families

This section provides some information for students who bring dependant family members with them to Australia. The International Student Centre (ISC) understands that there are additional pressures and requirements for students with families as they prepare for their time at the University of Adelaide.

There are International Student Advisors in the ISC who can provide you with ongoing information, advice and individual assistance. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to contact us at isc@adelaide.edu.au or visit us in person at the ISC.

The ISC also produces an information booklet titled The Family Handbook, for International Students with Partners and Children. The Family Handbook contains some key information about health, child care, schooling, leisure activities for children and Public Services in Australia. You can collect a copy of this supplement from the ISC once you have arrived in Adelaide, or download a copy below.
